Know Where You Are Going
You want to build a great organization. Planning is your first step. Here’s a quote (sometimes attributed to Ben Franklin) that, I think, says it all:
“Failing to Plan is Planning to Fail”Making a plan and setting goals are so important yet they bring to mind endless meetings and lots of paperwork. What a shame! They can be fun and inspiring. And, I’ll admit it, hard work. The process causes you to think through the possibilities. To dream and to share your dreams. And then you take all those dreams and figure out which are the highest priorities and how you are going to get there. Nonprofit Champion offers lots of ideas on how to succeed and grow. But it begins with a plan, your plan. Hang in there, I promise it will be worthwhile (and even fun).
