Nonprofit Marketing

What is nonprofit marketing? Everything that is seen by the public and reflects on your organization! If you send an email to your mailing list (or even to a small group of volunteers) today – you are marketing. It’s a very broad definition, but you are making impressions and every one of them should be a reflection of your work and mission!

Marketing is simply:
Generating interest or action.

And you can do it! Your image is continually enhanced by good marketing. You begin with Branding to create an identifiable image. Without a brand you just go out there again and again, starting over with each communication, publication or presentation. Your identity includes your name, logo, name, logo, colors and fonts.

Next, you have the informative Communications created by you to generate interest or action.

Public Relations are all efforts you make to gain free publicity in various media or otherwise engage the public.

Finally, Advertising is the paid ads that you place in the media to promote your organization, services, events or programs.

We have created marketing solutions for nonprofits for 20 years. It is fun - but it's also frustrating. There are choices to make, limited budgets to consider and, possibly, a lack of experience in marketing. None of these should stop you!
