Events can be very exciting – and very time consuming. Here’s a few quick tips to make sure yours are a success:

1. Pick a theme. This helps you focus and makes any event more fun.

2. Create a team. You can’t do it alone, gather some staff and volunteers. A Project Manager is essential!

3. Plan your tasks, week by week.

4. Check-in with the team weekly to be sure everyone is on target.

You may have a gathering to show appreciation, introduce your organization, raise money, celebrate a milestone or get publicity. Whatever the reason, it should be creative, fun and well organized.
